Woodcoate Stud, run by David & Wendy with their daughters Samantha and Nicola. The Wood Family have farmed and lived at East Farm House in the beautiful Dorset coast village of Abbotsbury for over 300 years. We have also been breeding and producing horses competitively for many years, Samantha and Nicola have very successfully come up through all levels in the horse world, from Showing, Show Ponies, Eventing, Show Jumping, National Hunt and Flat Racing. We take schooling liveries to educate and prepare horses for the competitive world after they have been broken, and also introduce them to the outside world in general - hacking out safely across open land and behaving in traffic. We will also take horses that need to recuperate from any injury or illness with every care being taken too bring them back to health.
