This top-ranking horse was given a H&H award for the stallion showing the greatest annual rise in Show Jumping in 1999. He is a prolific sire of champion stock, in hand and under saddle, including many winning show jumpers. 6 graded stallions dressage horses and champion ridden hunters. His sire Arturo is very closely related to the Dutch dressage supreme Clavacimbel, and his dam Woudina by Nimmerdor won a H&H award for show jumping on the B.H.D. His dam Renkum Lana is from one of the top lines in Holsteiner breeding (Stamm 242). Starting with the great granddam Diastolchen, the line has produced more than 28 approved stallions. Amongst these, Joost, Ahorn, Alcatraz, Locarno, Colt and Laertes rank with the very best in Holsteiner horses. World class show jumpers like Joost, Almox, Rosella, VIP and Carrera, and olympic dressage horses like Antoinette (Bronze Individual and Team Gold in Munich) out of Rhea also feature in Lana's pedigree.
